Rajpal Yadav
Comic leading man with a career of over 150 Hindi films.
Rajpal Yadav is a prolific Indian actor best known for comic and character roles in Hindi cinema. He trained at the National School of Drama before making his feature debut, and has gone on to appear in a filmography widely reported as more than 150 titles - including Hungama, Phir Hera Pheri, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Waqt, Chup Chup Ke, and Bhagam Bhag.
He's played dramatic leads as well - Jungle, Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon - though the public image is firmly comic. He has continued to feature through the 2020s in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3 and a string of supporting ensemble pieces.
Yadav's stage sessions turn on comic timing, the professional discipline behind a casual-looking performance, and staying relevant across three decades of Hindi cinema.
