Sunil Chhetri is the long-time captain of the Indian men's national football team and one of the highest-scoring active international goalscorers in world football. He has led India at multiple AFC Asian Cup campaigns and through more than 150 international appearances.
At club level, Chhetri has played for Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Churchill Brothers, Kansas City Wizards in MLS, Sporting CP B in Portugal, and Bengaluru FC - with whom he has won multiple Indian Super League and I-League titles. He is among Bengaluru FC's most successful captains.
