Navjot Singh Sidhu

Former India Test opener, cricket commentator, and Padma Shri awardee.

Navjot Singh Sidhu is a former Indian Test opener whose international career spanned over a decade in the 1980s and 90s. He scored more than 7,000 international runs across Tests and ODIs and was known as one of the most aggressive sub-continental openers of his era.

After retirement he became a high-profile cricket commentator whose Hindi and English broadcast style - his 'Sidhu-isms' - became a genre of their own. He has hosted television, served as a member of the Rajya Sabha and Punjab Legislative Assembly, and is a Padma Shri recipient.

On stage, Sidhu combines cricket, Punjabi poetry, and public speaking in a signature theatrical style - entertaining for cultural and motivational events.
