Dr. A. Velumani is the founder of Thyrocare Technologies, a Mumbai-headquartered diagnostics network he launched in 1996 after a long career as a scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre. Thyrocare grew into one of India's largest thyroid-testing businesses before going public in 2016 and being acquired by API Holdings (PharmEasy) in 2021.
