Ashneer Grover

Ashneer Grover is a co-founder and former managing director of BharatPe, the UPI-first merchant payments company. Before BharatPe, he was CFO at Grofers and held roles at Kotak Investment Banking and American Express.

He was a judge on the first season of Shark Tank India - the show that brought startup pitching into Indian living rooms - where his direct, no-frills questioning style made him one of the most-quoted investors on Indian television. His 2022 memoir Doglapan: The Hard Truth About Life and Start-Ups was a major bestseller and a frank account of his years building in fintech.
