Devdutt Pattanaik is an Indian mythologist, author, and illustrator whose work brings the Ramayana, Mahabharata, Puranas, and Jain and Buddhist traditions into conversation with modern life. He was trained as a medical doctor before leaving the pharma industry to write and speak full-time.
He is the author of more than fifty books including Business Sutra, My Gita, Jaya, and Sita, and served as chief belief officer at Future Group during its peak Indian-retail years.
