Jaya Kishori is a katha vachak - a devotional storyteller - whose tellings of the Bhagavat Purana, Sundar Kand, and Shrimad Bhagavat Katha have built a large audience across India and the Indian diaspora. Born Jaya Sharma in Rajasthan, she began performing bhajan and discourse in her teens and has performed publicly since the mid-2010s.
