Anand Kumar is a Patna-based mathematician and educator, best known as the founder of Super 30 - a program launched in 2002 that provides free residential IIT-JEE coaching to 30 students each year from economically underprivileged backgrounds. The program has achieved notable results in JEE over many cohorts and has been featured in international media.
His life and work were the basis of the 2019 Hindi feature film Super 30, in which Hrithik Roshan portrayed him. He has lectured at institutions including MIT and Harvard and has received public recognition from the governments of India and Bihar.
